Linked Data Workshop - Agenda available - Registration open
Spaces are limited - first come first served
Registration is now open for the “Getting Started with Linked Data” workshop. This event is jointly organised by the UK Location Programme and the DNF Expert Group and will explore ways in which Linked Data supports both initiatives.
The format of the workshop will present a number of application examples from subject matter experts to show Linked Data in use today and open up to a more interactive discussion format, over a buffet lunch, to allow participants to walk around, see demos and explore the subject in more detail, according to their areas of interest.
As a workshop, the day will need to come to some conclusions with a discussion and formulation of the plan ahead – something that will be relevant to both those with an interest in the UK Location Strategy and INSPIRE and those familiar with the principles of DNF.
The event runs on 15 September 2010 and will be hosted by Ordnance Survey at its current HQ building in Southampton – indeed one of the last events to be held there with the forthcoming move to its new building.

Registration, for which there is no cost to attend, will take place at http://www.dnf.org/events/register/. Places are limited and so registrations will simply be on a first come first served basis. Registration will close on 8 September 2010.
